The Regular program integrates all aspects of the language: reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, phonetics and vocabulary. The curriculum is based on the needs of each proficiency level (see 'Placement Test and Proficiency Levels'). Accelerated teaching methods allow participants at lower proficiency levels to acquire the language skills needed for effective communication in a short period of time, and for participants at higher proficiency levels to attain expression proficiency at an abstract level. Topics studied include everyday situations, French culture, society, and history.
Modern interactive teaching methods focus on instilling the linguistic, practical, and cultural aspects of the language as well as the French way of life. Emphasis is placed on developing oral expression, listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing, and grammar. Up-to-date materials are used to introduce modern-day France, social and economic life, culture, history, and literature.
Regular Program classes:
9:00 to 10:40 - break - 11:00 to 12:20 (Monday to Friday)
20 classes / week (Regular program) plus 10 classes a week (Practical application and active use of French)
Thise Intensive program is a comprehensive program, designed for participants dedicated to progressing rapidly and gaining language fluency. It is a combination of the Regular Program (in the mornings) plus 10 classes a week (in the afternoons) devoted to the use and application of French on a wide range of topics. The curriculum is based on the needs of each proficiency level (see 'Placement Test and Proficiency Levels').
Classwork is varied and designed to apply what is learned in the morning. Classes further develop language fluency in oral expression, pronunciation, listening comprehension and vocabulary building. Modern teaching methods encourage spontaneous and interactive use of French, through exercises such as role-plays, opinion polls, interviews, discussions, oral presentations, and debates. Up-to-date study materials on modern-day France, social and economic life, culture, history, and literature are used.
Intensive Program classes:
9:00 to 10:40 - break - 11:00 to 12:20 (Monday to Friday)
plus 3 afternoons 13:15 to 15:45
20 classes / week (Regular program) plus 5 or 10 classes a week (Tailored One to One program)
These Combination Tailored programs combine group classes with one to one classes. Ideal for those who wish to have a more intensive program and devote extra time to specific subject areas.
The morning class is held according to the 'Regular Program'. The afternoon classes (5 or 10 classes a week) are tailored to suit individual requirements. Examples of tailored component subject areas include General French, Business French, French Law, French Politics, Tourism, Hotel Trade and Exam Preparation. Participants are required to state the subject area in advance, so that qualified and experienced teachers in that particular subject can be arranged.

The Academic year program has is similar in structure and content to the Long Duration program (as above). This 9 month course provides an intensive and comprehensive curriculum designed for participants disposing of several months to become fluent in French.
Classwork focuses on four general areas including General French, French Civilization, History, and the D.E.L.F. The curriculum is based on the needs of each proficiency level (see 'Placement Test and Proficiency Levels'). The program also helps the participant in preparation of D.E.L.F 1st and D.E.L.F 2nd degree examinations. At the end of the program, examinations are held for the DELF B2.
